Step 1
A knotted tie can be visually dismembered into several shapes. The knot resembles a trapezoid that stands at its narrow end. The shape of the main part can be similar to an elongated rectangle or, again, a trapezoid. The tip of the tie has a triangular shape.
Step 2
Make a pencil sketch of the accessory you want. Respect the proportions. At this stage, you need to draw the correct size and outline of the tie so that it fits organically into the costume of the hero of the picture. Erase the extra lines.

Draw a line where the node merges into the body. In this place, folds and creases can form; it is better to depict them using chiaroscuro. Use small dense strokes to select areas that are in the shadow. Consider the direction of light that you chose when you started drawing the hero of the picture.

Ties are usually made from silk or other fabric with a slight sheen, so leave them almost white in well-lit areas. If you will be coloring your drawing, use different tones of the same color to add volume to the tie.

Apply the pattern after the paint is dry. Come up with your own interesting pattern to decorate the product. Apply a black outline of the oriental ornament with a thin squirrel brush. For a sample, select the pattern you like and carefully redraw it, decorating the tie.
