Step 1
Connect with the public! Greet people in the hall, smile at them. What to talk about on stage? You can tell interesting stories about creating a song that you will sing, about who or what you dedicate it to. Express your opinion about important events taking place in the world. This will show you yourself as an interesting person. If you're worried, don't talk a lot. Just announce the songs clearly and confidently.
Step 2
Move around the stage. Go deep into the stage space, go to the edge of the stage, switch places with the musician. You should not run around the stage all the time, as well as stand in one place - this will quickly bore the viewer. If possible, you can go down to the hall. Interact with your inventory on stage: microphone stand, drum kit, guitarist. Let it be interesting not only to listen to you, but also to look at you.
Step 3
Pay attention to the non-verbal side of the presentation. Keep your back straight, do not hide your hands, gesticulate, "tell" the meaning of the song with your hands, this will add expressiveness to the performance, you will be better understood. Don't close your eyes for too long. Thus, it seems that you are singing to yourself. Do not turn your back on the viewer.
Step 4
Interact with team members. Present them to the audience, include them in dialogues with the audience.
Step 5
Try to control your viewers. Say, "Raise your hands!" or "Sing with me!" You will most likely be listened to. This is how you connect the listener to create the show. He will not feel like an observer, but a participant.
