Butterflies made of wire and nylon fabric are good for decorating hats, vintage handbags, brooches. You can even decorate your hair with them. Nowadays, when nylon tights make all possible shades, the process of creating flying beauties has become especially interesting.

- - flexible, well-shaped wire;
- - colored nylon (for example, part of colored tights)
- - beads, sequins, metallized thread, rhinestones, etc. for decoration;
- - gel based glue.
Instructions
Step 1
Create the abdomen of the butterfly. To do this, thread a large bead, which will be the head of a butterfly, onto the wire. Bend a piece of wire 0.5 cm long and pull the bead to the very edge so that both ends of the wire - long and short - pass through its hole. Make sure that the bead is holding tight and the wire forms a small loop - you will still need it. Bend the wire at a distance of 5-6 cm from the bead towards the head of the butterfly, wrap it tightly around a straight piece of wire. This will be the belly of the insect. If you want the belly to be thicker, fold the wire several times and wrap the resulting bundle.
Step 2
Form the wings of the butterfly out of the wire. The wing shape can be oval, leaf-like, triangular. Make the upper wings larger than the lower ones. Close the wire, thread the end onto the wing frame, cut off the excess wire with special scissors or side-side pliers.
Step 3
Cover the frame of the wings with nylon fabric. It can be fabric from torn colored tights. Wash it first. Gather the nylon with small basting stitches at the base of the winglet, pull off, secure the thread. Cut off the excess nylon fabric. Glue the wings to the back of the belly with gel glue. Correct their shape.
Step 4
Decorate the butterfly wings. To do this, use beads, jewelry items, beads, pieces of lace and unusual beads. They can be sewn on or glued neatly. You can also decorate the abdomen. Use tweezers.
Step 5
Thread a small piece of wire into the loop on the butterfly's head, place it in the middle, and rewind it twice. Take two identical beads, drop a drop of glue into the places where they have holes. Place the beads on the ends of the wire that is inserted into the loop on the head. You will get antennae.
Step 6
Sew a pin to the nylon fabric on the inside of the abdomen. Or sew the bow tie to the arch of the hairpin with three stitches.
