Everyone remembers from childhood how to cut festive New Year's snowflakes from paper and foil, which can be used to decorate walls, windows and a New Year tree on the eve of the holiday. Not only simple flat, but also voluminous snowflakes will help you create a festive atmosphere - making them is no more difficult than ordinary snowflakes, but they look much more spectacular.

Instructions

Step 1

To make a large volumetric paper snowflake, you need six identical paper squares. The paper should be thick - they keep the shape of snowflakes from simple A4 office paper well.

Step 2

Take the first paper square and fold it diagonally, and then put the resulting triangle in front of you with the base down and cut with sharp scissors three oblique lines on the left and right, parallel to each other, directed from the base of the triangle to its apex. The cuts must not extend to the center line of the triangle. Expand the square - you will see symmetrical neat cuts.

Step 3

Now roll the middle fragment of the cut square into a tube, connecting the left and right corners with glue or a stapler. Turn the shape over and connect the corners of the next fragment on the other side.

Step 4

Continue to flip the shape and connect the corners of the cut pieces until they are finished. Do the exact same steps with the remaining five squares. As a result, you will have six volumetric rays of the future snowflake.

Step 5

Start connecting the parts of the figure - with a stapler, staple the ends of the two parts together, and then start attaching new parts to them on the left and right, continuing to fasten their ends to each other, forming the middle of the future snowflake.

Step 6

Also fasten the sides of the parts together so that the snowflake does not fall apart. Decorate the snowflake with sparkles and hang it on the tree. Experiment with different colors of paper - voluminous multi-colored decorations will be an excellent decorative element of your interior.
