The art of rolling funny figures out of towels came to us from Japan, where oshibori is folded in this way - wet towels served at the table for drying hands while eating. This is not to say that the technique of folding figures from towels is simple, but if you wish, you can also master it.
It is necessary
- - bath towel;
- - hand towel;
- - hangers;
- - stationery clips.
Instructions
Step 1
A swan is one of the simplest shapes that can be folded from a towel. To make such a bird, spread a rectangular bath towel with the wide side towards you.
Step 2
Take the fabric by the top corners and fold them inward so that the towel forms an isosceles triangle with the base facing you. The apex of the triangle after folding the shape will become the swan's beak.
Step 3
Wrap the sides of the resulting triangle in tight rolls towards each other so that you get a triangle with long sides and a short base. The tighter you roll the towel, the more stable your figure will be.
Step 4
Position the shape by curling the rolled up towel into an S shape. The swan is almost done.
Step 5
For feathering, take a smaller rectangular towel and fold it accordion lengthwise.
Step 6
Place the resulting accordion on top of the swan's tail. Pinch the middle, and straighten the edges in the form of two wide fans on the sides.
Step 7
Two towels can be used to roll up a monkey. True, it will have to be attached to a hanger with clips. To achieve this figure, spread the bath towel wide side to you on the table or on the floor. Roll the edges into rolls, rolling them towards the middle.
Step 8
Fold the resulting double roll in half, turn the end face towards you, and pull out all four corners of the towel from the middle of the rolls.
Step 9
Grasp the top corners with one hand, the bottom corners with the other, and stretch the shape. You should end up with something like a roll-up four-limbed torso. Attach the figure to the shoulders by the upper limbs with clerical clips.
Step 10
Roll the monkey's head out of a smaller rectangular towel. To do this, fold the towel in half lengthwise. Roll the opposite corners of the resulting rectangle diagonally towards each other. The result is a long double roll.
Step 11
Start rolling the resulting double roll into a tube from either end. Roll it up to the middle. The other end will look like a corner of an envelope made up of two layers of towel. Turn one of these layers inside out and pull it over the rolled-up fabric. It turned out a muzzle with an open mouth. Place the head of the monkey on the body, sticking it between the upper limbs.
