For any holiday, you can make such original candlesticks. Moreover, the work does not require a lot of effort, time and money, because candlesticks are made from what is in every home.
For crafts, you only need white or colored paper.
Idea number 1. Simple details
Decorate cylindrical glasses made of thin glass with colored paper details. If you choose a New Year theme, prefer foil - cut out stars, Christmas trees, or at least circles from it and stick them on a glass using any suitable glue.
Any thick colored paper in the form of leaves or whole trees, houses will also look good … Even the simplest silhouettes will look original and mysterious when the candles are lit.
Idea number 2. Delicate lace
No, of course, not really lace, but papery almost lace details. The easiest option, of course, is ready-made paper napkins (those with the edge cut to resemble lace). Stick parts of napkins or all of them on a glass of stained glass, and the light of a lit candle completes the original design.
Of course, you can do it even easier - do not look for napkins in the store and do not spend money on them, but simply cut snowflakes out of paper for a printer or another. Stick on each glass a large or several small snowflakes, cut off the excess.
Idea number 3. Windows
Wrap the glass with a piece of paper with pre-cut round or square windows. It's not a bad option if you just cut out small circles or squares, but the craft will look better if the windows are, as it were, half-open (that is, half a circle or square is cut out and bent).
I must say that this technique of creating a podvechnik is very promising - craftsmen can create whole pictures in this way.
