There is a funny tradition in European countries - to give an Advent calendar. Our craftswomen have successfully transformed this idea into an interesting creative entertainment - the creation of various calendars for the New Year, filled with small surprises. How to make such a calendar out of paper or finished packaging?
Method number 1: Elementary
To create an Advent calendar, you will need 31 identical small bags, candies (as well as small toys, chocolates, and other little surprises that will delight the person for whom you are making an Advent calendar), glue, white printer paper, colored paper or felt-tip pens.
Helpful advice: jewelry or souvenirs in shops are put in small paper bags, so you don't have to buy them, you just need not throw out the received packaging.
Craft execution process:
1. For each gift bag or box on both sides, glue sheets of white paper of the appropriate size to cover all labels and logos.
2. On each box, write the numbers from 1 to 31 with felt-tip pens or glue the numbers cut out of colored paper.
3. Arrange in bags on candy or chocolate, diversifying surprises with the help of small toys, jewelry, samples (choose surprises depending on the addressee who will get such an Advent calendar).
4. Arrange or hang all bags in a place convenient for gradual opening.
Method number 2: We make an advent calendar out of paper completely with our own hands
If you choose this method of creating an Advent calendar, you will need heavy paper or thin cardboard, scissors or a knife, colored paper or felt-tip pens, glue or duct tape, small souvenirs and candy for filling the boxes.
Craft execution process:
1. Make 31 cardboard or cardboard boxes according to the pattern below.
Please note: the dotted line indicates the fold lines, the blue dot indicates the valves that need to be glued or secured with adhesive tape.
2. On each box, write the numbers from 1 to 31 with felt-tip pens or glue the numbers cut out of colored paper.
3. Fill boxes with sweets, small chocolates, small Christmas tree decorations, nice New Year's gifts.
4. Place the boxes on the dresser or pin them on the corkboard.
Helpful advice: if there is less than a month left before the holiday, it is not too late to please yourself or loved ones with such a craft, just prepare fewer bags with souvenirs.
