  • - colored paper;
  • - PVA glue;
  • - pieces of fabric;
  • - carpet scraps.

Instructions

Step 1

In order to make a doll house on your own, you need to purchase a large cardboard box, preferably at least a meter high and at least 50 cm wide. In this case, more than two floors and a roof can be installed in the house.

Step 2

If possible, you can make the basis for the construction of the boards. To do this, you need to take several boards, knock them together in the form of a cube, leaving an empty space on one side.

Step 3

Then, finish the walls, for this you need to decide to paint or wallpaper the walls of the house. Depending on this, you need to select the material for the job. To make windows, take a knife and cut holes with it at the level of the floors, choose the size of the openings yourself. Install the floors using large plywood sheets or, if the house is out of the box, cut from one wall that remains.

Step 4

To make windows, you need to take the film and stretch it tightly over the entire surface of the opening. Then secure it along the slots with duct tape or a stapler. After that, you can start decorating the house.

Step 5

Take paint, preferably gouache, a brush, and a small glass of clean water. Paint the walls in the desired shade. Each floor can be made in different colors and varnish can be applied on top. If you wish, you can make wallpaper. To do this, take sheets of thin A4 paper and apply a random pattern to the surface. Cut into long strips and use PVA glue to glue to the walls of the house.

Step 6

You can simply paint the floors in a solid color, or make an imitation of parquet, laminate or linoleum with a brush and watercolors. It is good if you have any residual carpet scraps, then it is easy to lay carpets on the floor in the house.

Step 7

Then decide how many rooms there will be in the house. If the doll house consists of two or more floors, it is advisable to make a kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, bathroom and toilet. For the walls, take the same sheets of plywood or cardboard and, having made the slots, fix them on the floors, you can do this with glue. Just bend the cardboard from the bottom and top and glue it to the floor and ceiling, having previously painted them or pasted over in "wallpaper".

Step 8

Now all that remains is to place the furniture and hang the curtains on the windows. Curtains are hung on curtains that you can make yourself. To do this, take long pencils and remove the core inside each. There should be pencils for the number of windows in the house. After that, apply paint along the windows in such a way as to create an imitation of a window sill and frames. Using the staples, attach the pencils to the top of each opening and paint the entire structure a solid color. You can sheathe pencils with cloth.

Step 9

Take the material, it is better dense, but chiffon is also possible. Make a pattern in the form of two rectangles, measuring 10x15 cm and cut with scissors. Overcast the fabric around the perimeter with threads to match the fabric and, bending over from one edge, sew with a blind stitch. Then thread through the pencil and secure with tape on the side, lightly gathering the edges of the curtains. Hang curtains all over the house and start setting up.

Step 10

You can decorate your home with homemade paintings, flowers or candlesticks. Also make the chandeliers from thick paper, randomly gluing it into balls, squares and cubes, paint them in bright yellow colors, hang them from the ceiling with glue or thread.

Step 11

Place doll furniture in all rooms and start the game. A homemade doll house is easy to make, in addition, it makes it possible to show imagination and your own talents in decorating and making the entire structure.
