Every woman remembers how, as a child, she dreamed of beautiful furniture for her dolls, and made this furniture from improvised means. Modern children are no exception - any girl will be delighted to receive original and beautiful furniture for her dolls as a gift. It is not necessary to buy such furniture in the store - you can try to make it yourself from improvised tools, and in this article we will tell you what you can make the main pieces of doll furniture from.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to make a doll's closet, take a shoebox, beautiful paper or self-adhesive tape, a thin wooden stick and metal fittings that will act as door handles.
Step 2
Cut the lid of the box along the contour so as to cut off the folds, and then cut it in half lengthwise to get the blanks of the doors. Glue a mirror on one of the doors, which can be cut from a sheet of foil.
Step 3
Smooth out the foil when gluing. Pre-cover the doors with self-adhesive tape or colored paper, which you then paste over the remaining surfaces of the cabinet. From the outside of the box along the edges, glue the doors with superglue at the folds, so that they open outward.
Step 4
In the places where the handles should be, make holes and insert metal fittings into them, or glue it. Cover the remaining surfaces of the cabinet box with self-adhesive tape. After that, from the inside of the box, mark the points through which the wooden hanger stick will pass, and make holes in these points.
Step 5
Install the stick and coat the ends with glue. If desired, glue a drawer out of cardboard for small clothes and accessories. Separately from thick cardboard, cut out the hangers for clothes that will be attached to the transverse stick.
Step 6
From boxes of chocolates, pasted over with paper and painted, you can glue a dollhouse or its separate rooms, as well as individual pieces of furniture for dolls: bedside tables, armchairs, sofas, bookshelves.
Step 7
Also, chairs and sofas can be made from plastic bottles, the lower part of which is cut obliquely with sharp scissors. The bottle can be covered with a cloth, and a pre-sewn pillow can be put inside. Using plastic bottles, boxes of different sizes, pieces of fabric, ribbons and appliques, you can create an original dollhouse for your child.
