The predator is a fairly well-known character in the film of the same name, whose costume many boys would not refuse. At the same time, the Predator inspires handicraft lovers to create all the new costumes that are especially relevant for the Halloween holiday. Making a Predator costume yourself is not that difficult.
It is necessary
plastic dummy, petroleum jelly, architectural plaster, bandages, cotton wool, cocktail straws, silicone cap
Instructions
Step 1
Anyone who has watched this horror movie will probably agree that the worst thing about the protagonist is the head. Complete your Halloween Predator look with a turtleneck, skinny pants and black boots. But with the "head" will have to tinker.
Make a predator mask using latex. To do this, buy petroleum jelly, plaster of paris, bandages (or gauze), cotton wool, thick cocktail straws and a silicone pool cap. Since you will need to make the mask yourself, try to find a plastic mannequin to model for making it.
Step 2
Dilute the gypsum with water (the consistency of thick sour cream), after having liberally lubricated the face of the mannequin with Vaseline. Apply a thin layer of plaster quickly but carefully.
Step 3
As soon as the plaster has set a little, lay the pieces of bandage (gauze) evenly on its surface. Apply a second coat and let it cure until firm. Smear the inner dry surface of the mask with a thin layer of nitro varnish. After it's dry, apply another one. Knead the plasticine in your hands and, dividing it into small pieces, outline the main features of the future mask. Also outline the lateral "canines" (bulges on the sides of the mouth opening) typical of a predator. At the end of the work, carefully and carefully smooth the surface of the plasticine.
Step 4
Buy plenty of liquid latex. Pour it into the mold (the inside of the "face") and leave to dry. As soon as a sufficient amount of latex settles on the sides of the mask, drain the excess and set the mold to dry. After that, cut through the eyes and nostrils in it. Color the mask in accordance with the external data of the character (use certain frames from the film).
Step 5
Attach pre-painted black plastic tubes to the sides of the mask (use thick cocktail straws to make them). This will be the "hairy" surface of the Predator's head. After that, the costume of the scariest hero from a horror movie will be ready.
