A radio-controlled model is every child's dream. But not only children are interested in them. Very often, adults are engaged in collecting and assembling radio-controlled toy models. The easiest way is to buy such a model already assembled. But, you must admit that it is much more interesting to assemble it with your own hands. You can also assemble one model from several broken ones.
It is necessary
electric motor or internal combustion engine, chassis, oil, a set of special paints, model body, batteries
Instructions
Step 1
First, decide which model you want to build. This can be a car, helicopter, airplane, or speedboat. The basic assembly principle is the same. The difference lies in the outer shell of the model - its body. For example, we will be assembling a car model. It is necessary to select the body of the model itself. You can choose absolutely anything to your taste, because the chassis of the models are unique, that is, they fit all cases.
Step 2
The case can be purchased ready-made. Or you can do it yourself. It is best if the body is made of plastic. Then you can play with such a model outdoors in almost any weather. Very often, those blanks that are sold in stores do not completely meet the requirements of model lovers. They may be inaccurate or subtle. Therefore, decorate the case as you wish. Use special paints to give your model a more realistic look. In stores, you can find whole sets for this.
Step 3
Now you need to think about the most important thing in the model - about the engine. Decide which engine will drive your model. There are two main types - electric motor and internal combustion engine. Each has its own pros and cons. If you're new to model building, use an electric motor. It is unpretentious to use and maintain. Also its price is lower.
Step 4
The next step is to install the engine on the chassis. As a rule, there is nothing difficult about this. You just need to connect the contacts and carefully attach the motor to the chassis. Please note that the electric motor must not wobble. Check chassis performance. All gears should fit snugly together. Lubricate them with special oil if necessary.
Step 5
Your model is almost complete. All that remains is to insert the batteries into the model and the remote control. Check the functionality and attach the housing to the chassis. For this, small bolts are used.
