Instructions

Step 1

First, select the software bundle that matches your version of Counter-Strike. If you need to install bots for CS 1.6, then download the zBot 1.6 or NiceBot 2.5 kit.

Step 2

Wait for the download to complete. Install WinZip or 7z software. It will be required to work with the downloaded archive. Alternatively use Total Commander.

Step 3

Open the downloaded archive and copy all files from it. Better create a separate folder for this. Otherwise, you risk losing files that are in the root directory of the archive.

Step 4

Now copy the unpacked files to the game folder. If you installed the non-steam version, then select the game folder and open the cstrike directory. Copy into it all files and folders that are in the archive directory of the same name.

Step 5

If using the official version of steam, open the Program files folder and navigate to the Steam directory. Select the steamapps folder and open the directory corresponding to your nickname. Select the Counter-Strike game and navigate to the cstrike folder. Copy the files from the cstrike directory of the downloaded archive into it.

Step 6

Start the game and click the New Game button. Choose a map name and customize the game options. Click the Start button and wait for your own server to be created. Now press the H key and select the zBot item in the new menu. In the opened window, select "Add bots" and select a side (CT or T).

Step 7

To add bots through the console, enter the bot_add_ct or bot_add_t command. Enter the commands mp_limitteams 0 and mp_autoteambalance 0 if you want to play alone against a large number of bots.
