Adding a photo to Photoshop can be done in two simplest ways: through the program interface, and also through the properties of the photo itself.

Step 1
Adding photos to Photoshop through the user interface of the program.
To upload a photo to Photoshop, you initially need to run the program itself. After the application is loaded, click the "File" button in the upper left corner of the program. In the menu that opens, select the "Open" option. The application will launch a dialog box through which you need to select the desired photo on your computer. After specifying the desired photo, click the "Open" button. Thus, the photo will become available for subsequent correction.
Step 2
Adding photos to Photoshop through the properties of the image.
To upload an image to Photoshop in a similar way, you need to follow these steps. Right-click on the desired photo and select "Open with". In the window that appears, click the "Browse" button, then find the installed Photoshop program on your computer. Double click on the program shortcut and click the "OK" button. The image will open in the program. Having performed this action once, in the future, opening photos through Photoshop can be done as follows. As before, you need to right-click on the photo and hover over the "Open with" option. A window will appear on the monitor offering a choice of a specific program for viewing the image. Choose Photoshop from all applications. After a while, the photo will be available for editing in Photoshop.
