For your photo to have a finished look, it must be framed. You can, of course, use ready-made ones. A large number of various psd frames have been developed by photo designers for literally every occasion. However, in order to arrange your photos in the same style (for organizing a photo gallery, for example), you need to make your own, branded frame.

Instructions

Step 1

So, open the photo in Photoshop and unlock the layer. To do this, double-click on the layer thumbnail and click "OK" in the window that opens.

Step 2

Now we need to create a new layer. If you just execute the command "Create a new layer", then it will be formed above the main layer. Since the new layer needs to be positioned below it, execute the command while holding down the ctrl key.

Step 3

Stand on the newly created layer and from the "Image" menu select "Canvas Size …". In the window that opens, you need to set the canvas size larger than the image size. Select a unit of measurement - percent, set width - 10%, height - 7%. Check the box "Relative", the location is in the center. If you want to leave an autograph, your signature or a logo at the bottom of the frame, repeat the last step, set the size of the new canvas to 0% in width, 7% in height, and position to top.

Step 4

Fill this layer with black by pressing alt="Image" + delete. If you need a different color for the frame, fill the layer, having previously selected the desired color.

Step 5

Now shade the photo. To do this, double-click on the layer with the photo or click the "Add Style to Layer" button. Select the "Stroke …" item from the menu. Set the size to 4pc, position to inside, color to white.

If you are not satisfied with the design option, try experimenting with color, stroke size, and other blending options.

Step 6

Now it remains to use the "Text" tool and place a signature or logo on the frame. Your frame is ready.

Step 7

Are you satisfied with the result? Then write down the entire algorithm of actions in the action (menu "Window" - "Operations" - "Create an operation"). Now you don't need to do the same steps for every photo. Select the photos you want, run the newly created action for each of them. Photos are ready, print them and create your own photo gallery.
