For many, the process of sewing on a sewing machine is a creative pastime, for which it is pleasant to escape from everyday household problems. To start sewing, you need to learn not only to perform various seams, but also to cope with the sewing machine yourself, including threading the threads you need into it.
Instructions
Step 1
Look at the back of the bed, if the presser foot is down, lift it up and lock the lever in the up position.
Step 2
Before threading the hook, you must first pull the shutter plate aside, remove the bobbin case from the machine and remove the bobbin from it. Wind the thread of the color you want onto the bobbin using the bobbin winder located on the machine. Pass the thread through the hole in the thread guide from top to bottom and then clockwise between the tension washers and to the left, passing it in sequence through the holes in the thread guide. Wind a few turns of thread around the bobbin by hand, then thread the thread onto the spindle. Press lightly on the spindle, and the stopper will enter between the walls of the bobbin, then set the machine in motion, and the thread will automatically start winding around the bobbin. After you have successfully wound the thread around the bobbin, proceed to insert the bobbin into the bobbin case.
Step 3
Place a pin with a thread wound on it over the hook shaft and thread the end of the thread into the slot in the hook away from you. Pull the thread under the leaf spring and out.
Step 4
Rotate the bobbin case 90 °, pull back the lock plate while sliding the bobbin case onto the bobbin holder shaft. Hold the bobbin in place with your finger or lock the thread when inserting the bobbin case, otherwise the thread on the bobbin may unwind.
Step 5
Check the clasp for tightness and make sure no thread is caught under the plate. If the thread gets under the pressure plate, and you do not notice it right away, then you will immediately notice it when you start sewing - the thread will be difficult to feed and may break. If you feel that the thread tension has become excessive, pull out the bobbin and turn it over so that the thread falls under the pressure plate.
