Earrings are an accessory that will not only emphasize the style and individuality of a woman, but also help to visually correct the oval of the face and enhance the brightness of the eyes. Unique, stylish and original earrings can be made with your own hands from improvised materials: thin wire and shiny threads.
You can diversify your jewelry assortment in a less costly way than visiting a jewelry store. Exclusive, graceful, bright earrings, created with your own hands from improvised materials, are a unique opportunity to match fashion trends without compromising your own budget.
Thread entanglement technique
Very beautiful and elegant earrings are obtained using the technique of twisting a colored thread around a wire base made in the form of a spiral. To make the jewelry, you will need thin, flexible wire and strong synthetic sewing thread. The most advantageous look are shiny threads of saturated colors, wrapped around a spiral of golden or silver color.
A thin wire is wound tightly on a solid base in the form of a knitting needle or a piece of thick wire. The finished spiral is removed from the base and slightly stretched so that even intervals 1-2 mm long appear between the turns. The middle is marked on the spiral and manually give it the desired shape for future earrings: a circle, a drop, a heart, a crescent, a rhombus, etc. The ends of the wire are twisted together and cut off.
The thread of the desired color is fixed at the base of the frame and begins to wrap a spiral around it. The direction of the thread can be arbitrary: the simplest winding is parallel, when the thread connects opposite sides of the warp. Each step of the thread should correspond to one turn of the spiral. A more intricate pattern is obtained when the thread is wound, moving from the top of the frame to the bottom in random order, crossing and combining different colors of the threads. In work, beads can be used, which are placed on a thread in the process of wrapping around a wire base.
The space inside the frame is tightly filled with threads, not missing a single section, after which the earrings are decorated with sparkles, sequins, pendants and hooks are attached.
Earrings from paper clips
Creating stylish jewelry from metal staples is a simple, low-cost and creative activity. From a neatly bent paper clip, a triangle is formed, the edges of which are connected using epoxy resin or a fast-setting glue: this measure will get rid of unwanted empty spaces between individual sections of the frame. The edge of a synthetic, metallized, floss or woolen thread of the selected color is glued to one of the corners of the triangle with Moment glue. After drying, the thread is wound around the frame in a random order: tightly, at intervals, in one direction or chaotically. Alternating loops of thread with beads or beads will help to give the finished jewelry individuality and unique charm.
The simplest earrings are made from floss threads in the form of brushes: a thread of the desired color is wrapped in several layers around a rectangular cardboard base. A thread of a contrasting color is threaded under the upper edge of the winding and a strong knot is tied. The lower edge of the winding is cut, the brush is straightened and a beautiful "head" is formed for it, making a dressing with a thread, slightly stepping back from the top of the finished brush. To complete the work on the manufacture of earrings, hooks are inserted into the upper knot.
