Instructions

Step 1

Always sketch with a simple pencil, finely sharpened, but not too hard, so as not to leave marks on the paper after removing with an eraser. Select the image of the fairytale hero you want to portray. Place the drawing in front of you. If you have a rich imagination, then no drawing is needed as a basis.

Step 2

Take a piece of paper and use a pencil to outline the hero's torso. Draw a head to it. Depending on the character chosen, the head will be in the form of an even circle or, conversely, an uneven circle. Draw a line in the center of the head in order to symmetrically position parts of the face in the future.

Step 3

Draw limbs to the body. So that they are located symmetrically, divide the body of the fairytale hero exactly in half. Dress your hero in clothes. On the face, mark the eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips. Draw his hair. The base of your drawing is now complete.

Step 4

Draw in all the clear outlines of your drawing and erase the irregular and markings. You can leave the drawing in black and white, shading and shading individual parts of the body of the fairytale hero. Or you can make a drawing in colorful colors.

Step 5

Start coloring. You can color the drawing with pencils or paints. Watercolor paints will do. Moisten the drawing with damp cotton wool before painting. Let the water soak into the paper. Apply strokes carefully so that they do not cover the contours of the drawing and do not overlap. Let the drawing dry.
