The image of a fairy-tale hero can be stylized, schematic, or a representative of the animal world can be “humanized” with various attributes. This can be a drawing of a fox from any fairy tale.

It is necessary

a sheet of paper, a simple pencil, an eraser, materials for working in color

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare materials for work. Select the fairy tale from which you want to draw a fox. It can be Kolobok, Fox and Crane, and other fairy tales. Imagine what it might look like. To do this, you can look at the illustrations on the Internet. At the same time, pay attention to the pictures and drawings of foxes from wildlife, the structure of their bodies, muzzles. This will help you when creating your drawing.

Step 2

With a simple pencil, start sketching. Start with the head, depicting it in a small circle, then an elongated oval for the body. And draw the limbs and tail in the same way with ovals. Draw a muzzle on the head; for this, attach a small oval to the circle. Use the triangles to mark the ears. In a fox, they are quite large, more than in a cat.

Step 3

Next, we start drawing the details of the character. If your fox will be dressed in something (folk costume, for example), then immediately outline the details of the clothes. Draw an elongated face by connecting the oval with a circle. Draw a nose at the end. Add guidelines for the fox's eyes. Draw the inner side of the ears, take a closer look at the photographs and pay attention to their structure.

Step 4

The pose of the fox in the picture can be drawn by you in a human form (on the hind legs, hands on the sides, for example) or in the usual, "animal" form. In the first version, draw the limbs similar to human ones, but the brushes are animal. In the second version, you will have to repeat the pose of a real animal from and to, only slightly simplifying and possibly increasing some of the details - the tail, ears, etc.

Step 5

Erase the construction lines with the eraser. Specify the details of the drawing - antennae on the face, costume ornament, zones of white (light) wool, any attributes. Come up with and draw a background that will surround the character - a forest, a Russian hut, and so on. Prepare materials to work in color. You can use paints, crayons, crayons or mixed media

Step 6

Apply color first to the background, then go to large spots of color on the character itself. Then work out the little things. If you are working in mixed media, then after working with the main material, apply strokes, decorations, shading, and more in your drawing.
