Surely everyone will agree that it is not very easy to accustom a child to cleanliness and order. Children are always interested in everything unusual. That is why I suggest that you sew for them a kind of organizer for little things - hanging pockets. I think every child will like this craft, and he will use it with interest.
It is necessary
- - several colors of natural fabric;
- - threads;
- - ruler;
- - a pen;
- - fabric knife;
- - a small decorative cornice.
Instructions
Step 1
So, let's start making hanging pockets. First you need to carve out the necessary details. One pocket requires 2 rectangular shreds of the same size. By the way, you can choose the size of the craft yourself, the main thing is to observe this ratio: the length should be twice the width, for example, the length is 60 centimeters, which means the width is 30. If you want to make 3 pockets, then cut out 6 rectangles.
Step 2
The first part of the future pocket must be folded in such a way that it forms a square and is facing inward. The sides need to be sewn with a sewing machine.
Step 3
The resulting workpiece must be made voluminous. To do this, fold the bottom fold of the pocket so that the side seam separates it in the center. You should have a small corner that should be sewn at right angles to the seam. Do the same on the other side of the workpiece.
Step 4
From fabric of a different color, you need to make exactly the same pocket and hem the corners in the same way. After it is ready, bend the upper edges of the two blanks. Now they need to be nested one into the other so that the front sides of the product are visible from the outside.
Step 5
Next, you need to cut a square out of fabric that has not yet been used to make the pockets. Do not forget that the length of its side should be equal to the width of the product. After the square is cut out, you need to slightly bend two of its opposite edges and sew them on a sewing machine.
Step 6
Roll the resulting part so that it becomes 2 times smaller than the previous one and is facing outward. It must be inserted between two pockets so that it forms a kind of loop, with which it will be attached to the cornice.
Step 7
In this position, it is necessary to sew all 3 parts of the hanging pocket.
Step 8
All that remains is to make the required number of pockets, then hang them on the decorative cornice and fix it. Hanging pockets are ready!
