Sculpting is a very exciting activity. Shaping clay or plastic, with the help of hands and improvised tools, you can create a real masterpiece. If you constantly sculpt, you can reach the level of a sculptor and dazzle, for example, a human head.
It is necessary
- - material for modeling;
- - stacks;
- - water;
- - foil;
- - rod for sculpting.
Instructions
Step 1
Make a frame out of aluminum foil. Fold a square piece of it, connecting all four corners together. Place the resulting "dome" over the end of the sculpting rod and fold the foil to form the neck and head. Knead a piece of sculptural clay or plastic in your palms and evenly cover the frame with the chosen material. Flatten one side of the head.
Step 2
Mark the location of the eyes on the face. As a rule, they are placed slightly above the middle of the face. For marking, draw a straight horizontal line at the required level, make grooves on it and place eyes, or rather an eyeball, molded from plastic into them.
Step 3
Roll in your hands and flatten two small pieces of sculpting material. Form the upper eyelids and place over the eyes. Then use your hands to smooth out the seams, making movements away from the eyes. You can also use a stack, but the warmth of the hands is more conducive to successful smooth smoothing. Shape the lower eyelids in the same way.
Step 4
After planting the eyes and making the eyelids, start shaping the face. Sculpt the shape of the forehead, which is a flattened oval cake, tapered on one side. Apply it over your head, directing the point to the place of the bridge of the nose. Place the second similar piece on the lower part of the face. Smooth out the shapes without touching the eyes and eyelids.
Step 5
Form a nose out of a small piece of material and attach it to the head. As you turn your head, look at the figure from all sides to make sure that the shape and size of the nose fits the face. Begin to smooth the seams from the area between the eyes, moving away from them. When the seams are finished, shape the nose and smooth the surface. Make the nostrils with a round stick.
Step 6
To create lips, roll a roller out of plastic or clay, flatten it and place it under your nose. Smooth the seams with a stack, shape the lip and smooth the surface with a moistened finger. Make an oblong indentation under the lip and insert the roll of the lower lip into it. Lay on and smooth out your cheeks.
Step 7
Form the ears from two balls and attach to the head. Smooth out and adjust their shape. If you wish, you can bake your head in the oven. Follow exactly the instructions for drying the product indicated on the packaging of the material used. After drying, color your head and make a wig.
