Drawing is a difficult art that requires patience and regular training, and for novice artists and graphic artists, drawing a person and individual parts of his figure is often a great difficulty. The slightest discrepancy between the proportions and external forms of certain fragments of the human figure leads to an unrealistic overall picture. The most difficult thing for beginners in drawing is given to human hands and arms.
Instructions
Step 1
It is not difficult to draw a human hand if you understand what basic geometric shapes it consists of. Based on simple techniques, you can easily create a proportional shape of a human hand, and after some training you will bring the technique of drawing hands to perfection.
Step 2
Start drawing the hand from the palm of your hand. Sketch the palm in the form of a rectangle - draw it on paper, without making the size of the rectangle too large. The lower part of the palm tapers slightly towards the wrist - you can verify this by looking at your own palm. Four fingers brought together to form another rectangle.
Step 3
Apart from the length of the thumb, the hand has a ratio of 1: 2 - its length, together with the fingers, is twice the width. Draw a second rectangle above the first rectangle - you will turn it into fingers that will be inscribed in this shape.
Step 4
Now draw the thumb, which is always slightly out of the way of the palm. To do this, to the left or right of the palm, draw a small wedge in the right place, deviating from the rectangle at a small angle.
Step 5
Carefully draw the junction of the thumb with the palm - use your own hand as an example, constantly looking at it as you draw. The finger is connected to the palm with a kind of wedge, without forming a right angle. Narrow the bottom of the palm rectangle slightly and draw the lines for the wrist.
Step 6
Now draw the details of the hand - outline the main folds and lines that are in the palm of any person, and then draw the fingers. Divide the top rectangle into four narrow stripes and draw the shape of the fingers one at a time. The little finger should be the shortest and thinnest finger, the middle finger should be the longest.
Step 7
Round the fingertips and add small lines to indicate the location of the phalanges. To detail the thumb, draw it in a curved S-shaped line. Draw concave curves where the bones are closest to the skin.
Step 8
Elsewhere, draw convex curves that curve outward at the thickening of the finger. Erase construction lines. Now you can try drawing the hand from different angles.
