A scarf is one of the simplest knits. The needlewoman can begin to hone her skills with him. This thing does not require complex patterns and intricate patterns; neatly executed, it will not become dusty in the back of the cabinet. You can knit a women's scarf from yarn of any structure and color, including from multi-colored remnants. Take straight knitting needles, practice the selected pattern and get to work.

Step 1
Choose a yarn that is soft and comfortable to wear and the optimal knit pattern for your scarf. Double-sided knitting is recommended so that the wrong side is not conspicuous when using the finished product. For example, knit a garter stitch pattern (only knit stitches in each row).
Step 2
On the basis of only the front loops, you can create a rather interesting thing. For example, use melange yarn - it is decorative in itself. You can also use a scarf of two or more colors of thread, making successive stripes. Finally, you will be able to knit that is original in structure and appearance if you alternate knitting needles of different thicknesses during work (for example, from No. 3, 4 to 9 and 10).
Step 3
Master any elastic band, as this pattern is extremely handy for knitting a scarf. The so-called English elastic band is especially popular among needlewomen - it looks quite impressive. At the same time, it takes a little time to complete the thing, since the elastic fabric is quite voluminous and allows you to quickly reach the required length.
Step 4
Knit an English elastic in the following sequence: - type an even number of loops on the knitting needles according to the required width of the future scarf; - knit the first row, alternating sequentially the hem, front and purl loops. Finish with the hem; - in the second row, do the following alternations (in addition to the first and last hem): front, yarn and purl loop without knitting; - knit the third row like the first, and continue to perform the elastic according to the pattern.
Step 5
Measure the length of the knitted fabric. Usually women's scarves are knitted quite long, which allows you to create beautiful cuffs. These products can be from 80 cm to a couple of meters in length. If the work seemed complete to you, close the loops of the last row.
Step 6
Add a fringe to a woman's scarf - if you are going to wear it over outerwear, it will add additional charm to the product. To do this, you need to cut the bundles of yarn about 21 cm (you fold them in half; there will be a margin for the fixing knot; as a result, you will get a fringe 10 cm long). The thicker the thread bunches are, the fluffier the ends of the scarf will be.
Step 7
Crochet the fringe into every other end loop of the scarf. Tie a neat knot and trim the ends of the threads with sharp scissors.
