Instructions
Step 1
Before you start drawing Madagascar, it will be useful to familiarize yourself with the images of tropical islands in general. After examining a number of pictures and photographs, you will notice common characteristics. Wide sandy beaches, tall spreading palms, lush tropical greenery - these elements must be present in your painting. Remember that the main symbol of Madagascar is the lemur. Therefore, in order to achieve maximum recognition, be sure to depict this animal in your landscape.
Step 2
Start by drawing the horizon line. Its location on paper will depend on the angle you choose. To make the drawing of Madagascar as rich as possible, you need to include both the sea and the land. To do this, from the middle of the horizon, draw another winding line obliquely downward - it will represent the surf. After that, you can start drawing waves and elements of nature on the shore.
Step 3
To depict the waves, draw a series of uneven, wavy lines in the part of the drawing given under the image of the water surface. When painting over them, remember that the wave is lighter at the ridge and darker at the base. Use white paint to paint lambs on the waves and foam in the surf. Getting started drawing the coast of Madagascar, remember that tropical vegetation is rich in colors and splendor. Draw coconut trees, banana trees, vines entangling them. Be sure to depict the lemur family. To make them easier to recognize, focus on large, round yellow eyes and long striped tails.
