The wall panel can be of any shape: round, square, rectangular. The plot that is depicted on it can be neutral or thematic. For example, if the panel will be placed in the kitchen, then kitchen elements (cups, spoons, etc.) can be included in its production, flower arrangements are suitable for the bedroom, etc. On New Year's Eve, you can associate a wall panel with a New Year's theme.

It is necessary

  • - knitting threads in red, green, yellow, white, blue and black;
  • - artificial snowflakes or rhinestones;
  • - hook number 1, 5.

Instructions

Step 1

Start work by forming the base of the panel. To do this, knit 4 air loops from a blue thread and connect the last one with the first to make a ring. Continue knitting in single crochets in a circle, knitting it with a diameter of 22-25 centimeters.

Step 2

To decorate the edge (the so-called border), knit a circle, alternating 3 double crochet air loops with one single crochet loop, while skipping two loops in the bottom row. Knit the last row with single crochets.

Step 3

Take the yellow thread and also knit 4 chain stitches, connect the last one with the first to make a ring. Continue knitting in single crochets in a circle, knitting it with a diameter of 7 centimeters. This is the "face" of the future Santa Claus. From a black thread, in a similar way, tie two small rings (no more than a centimeter in diameter) for the "eyes", for the "nose" repeat the same procedure with a red thread and tie 3 air loops for the "mouth" with it.

Step 4

Attach all of the "front" pieces to the yellow circle.

Step 5

Cut white threads 10 to 30 centimeters long and secure them along the bottom edge of the last row of Santa Claus's "face", like brushes. This is the beard. Distribute the threads so that the long ones are in the center, and the short ones come to the sides of the "face". Trim the edges of the beard with scissors.

Step 6

Cut a few white threads for the "mustache" 30 centimeters long, fold them into a bun and sew to the "face" between the "nose" and "mouth" in the middle.

Step 7

Sew the "face" to the base (blue circle).

Step 8

Tie a hat for Santa Claus. To do this, knit a chain of air loops 7-8 centimeters long and knit a triangle. Sew the cap to your head.

Step 9

Along the top edge of the blue circle, create an imitation of a Christmas tree from elongated loops of green yarn.

Step 10

Place some artificial snowflakes or rhinestones on the surface of the tree. The panel is ready.
