When fishing for perch on a balance beam, there are rules and laws. They are not so difficult and do not require special skills, but with their help you will significantly increase the number of fish caught, and its large size will pleasantly surprise and delight you.

Step 1
Take your balancer choice very seriously. As noted by many fishermen, the length of the balancer should be at least 30 cm and no more than 60 cm.
Step 2
Decide on the type of balancer itself and its color. For initial fishing use a neutral shade balancer with a plastic tail.
Step 3
Find a fishing spot where the perch can be accurately observed. If ice has appeared only recently, i.e. no more than two weeks have passed, the probability of successful fishing is high in the same place where there was a lot of perch in the summer. In any case, you do not need to sit in one place for a long time, do test casts in different places.
Step 4
Always punch a hole larger than usual if you are going to fish perch on a balancer. Individuals come across larger than the spoon and this must be taken into account in advance.
Step 5
Remember, if you managed to catch at least one small perch, this does not mean that the fish will definitely be well caught in this place. But in most cases, try to do as many casts as possible at different depths. Often, where small fish have pecked at one depth, at another depth you will be able to pull out prey and larger ones.
Step 6
Handle the balancer very carefully. After lowering the bait, wait about 10-20 seconds. The balancer should calm down and not draw attention to itself ahead of time.
Step 7
Bounce the balance bar with a light motion. The main thing is not to jerk the rod sharply. Perform all movements smoothly. The bait, having risen to a certain height, will slowly sink to the bottom.
Step 8
Pay close attention to the movement of the line. When the balance bar is lowered to the bottom, its movements take on a rhythmic character. Catch the rhythm of these movements. Again, gently lift the balancer from the bottom and observe the line and the rhythm of its movement.
Step 9
Catch the moment when you notice the slightest changes in the balancer game. Raise and lower the balance bar up and down as often as possible to learn how to catch disruptions in the swing of the balance bar. Movements should not be intermittent, everything is done very easily. With a little practice, you will get up to speed quickly.
