If you have old jeans lying around in your closet, then do not rush to throw them away, because you can give them a second life by making beautiful denim flowers out of them. A handmade rose made from old jeans will be an excellent decoration for clothes or an element of decor.
It is necessary

- - cardboard (for patterns);

Instructions
Step 1
The heart of the rose is made of a twisted zipper with metal teeth. To do this, you need to twist the tip of the zipper with a snail - we twist the strip 180 degrees, first in one direction, then in the other so that the teeth of the zipper are first at the top and then at the bottom. Each step must be fastened with knots so that the flower does not disintegrate. The zipper should be sewn from the bottom, otherwise the threads will be visible on the front side.
Step 2
Next, you need to make patterns for the rose petals of two different sizes - the smaller petals will be attached to the core of the rose, and the larger ones - to the base of the flower. The pattern can be made from cardboard or thick paper. If you want to add volume to the flower, then the base of the petals should be wide enough to be able to gather.
Step 3
We cut out denim, laying the blanks for the petals diagonally. For each pattern, you need to make 5 petals. Finished petals should be slightly waving around the edges with an awl. We sew the bases of large petals with wide stitches, tighten the thread and fasten with a knot.
Step 4
Sew small petals first, then larger petals to the middle of a rose made of a zipper. In order for the assembly of the product to turn out to be strong, some stitches should be skipped inside the flower.
Step 5
From the remnants of denim, we cut out a round glue and sweep it around the edges. On the back of the gluing, you can attach the base for the brooch, positioning it slightly higher relative to the center. We carefully sew the finished gluing to the flower with blind stitches or attach it with glue.
