Mitts (or glovelets) are a topical accessory of recent times, which is especially popular among young people and glamorous beauties. Warm fingerless gloves are comfortable and beautiful, but they go well with a variety of clothing styles - from romantic to sporty. If you choose a simple model and a simple, but effective pattern, you can knit mitts pretty quickly.
It is necessary
- - 5 stocking needles;
- - centimeter;
- - hook;
- - auxiliary spoke.
Instructions
Step 1
Try knitting the glovelettes like a regular mitten to avoid the need for joining seams. To decorate the front surface of the product, simple, but elegant reliefs - braids are recommended. The elements of the pattern will be knitted with front loops against the backdrop of the seamy surface, the top and bottom of the mitt will be framed by a usual 1x1 elastic band (front-seamy).
Step 2
Tie the canvas sample with a plait harness. So you can calculate the density of your knitting and adjust the size of the product. Cast on 18 loops (2 for the hem, 4 purl on the right and left of the braids and 8 for the relief itself). Work 10 rows in this sequence.
Step 3
On the 11 (front) row, overlap the braids. First, remove the hem, knit 4 purl loops. Then transfer the next 4 loops to the auxiliary knitting needle and leave before work, the other 4 loops - knit. String the pending loops from the additional knitting needle to the main one and knit new front loops from them, then work according to the pattern.
Step 4
Please note: on the right and left knitted mitts, the overlaps of the links of the embossed braid should be directed in different directions. On one product, you will make a pattern as described in step # 4, on the other - when weaving a bundle, place the removed loops at work.
Step 5
Start knitting mitts with the elastic of the top. Measure the circumference of the forearm and cast on the required number of loops according to the hand size and knitting density. For example, you have 36 loops; distribute them on 4 knitting needles and knit in circular rows. Do the following alternations: purl 4 and knit 8; 4 more purl; two dozen front - they will make up the back of the fingerless glove.
Step 6
Sew the braids on the front side of the product every ten rows. When you get to the base of your thumb, make a hole. To do this, close 5 loops and tie the row to the end according to the pattern.
Step 7
In the next circle, cast 5 air loops over the closed arches: form loops from the thread and throw them on the working knitting needle.
Step 8
Sew 10 rows of circular fabric, then finish knitting the fingerless glove with a 1x1 elastic band. Close the stitches of the last row and hide the scrap of working yarn. Along the perimeter of the thumb hole, crochet 3-4 circular rows with single crochet. This will add completeness to the product.
