Everyone who knows how to perform only facial and purl loops can please the child with warm fluffy mittens. The main thing is to know the order of work. Such mittens will be original if supplemented with elegant embroidery or other decor.
It is necessary

- - set of 5 knitting needles.
Instructions
Step 1
Take 5 knitting needles that are sized for the thickness of the yarn. On four of them, cast on 10 loops (the number may be more depending on the age of the child and the girth of the wrist).
Step 2
The work is done in a circle. Start knitting with an elastic band. You can choose an elastic band 1x1 (knit 1, purl 1), 2x1 (knit 2, purl 1) or 2x2 (knit 2 and purl 2). When moving to the next knitting needle, consider which loops you finished knitting with on the previous one.
Step 3
After about 5 cm from the start of work, continue to knit only with front loops. Try it on your child's hand. If the last row is at the base of the thumb, then remove the first 5 sts on a safety pin. Knit the rest of the loops in the row.
Step 4
In the next row, over the loops removed for the finger, cast on 5 loops again on the knitting needles. Continue knitting to about the tip of your child's index finger.
Step 5
Then finish knitting as follows. Knit the first two stitches together from whichever needle is above the finger hole. Then decrease at the end of the next knitting needle. On the third knitting needle, knit the first two stitches together again, on the fourth knit the last two.
So continue to make subtractions in the next rows. When the last loop remains, knit it, cut the thread and tighten.
Step 6
Now tie your thumb. From the safety pin, transfer the loops to the knitting needle. Cast on 5 stitches from the top row on the other needle. Knit with knit stitches all the way to the tip of your child's thumb. Then finish the job. Work the first two stitches together on each knitting needle. Thread the last loop and tighten.
Step 7
Knit the mitten on the left hand in the same way, only for the hole for the finger, remove the last 5 loops from the knitting needle at the same level as for the right hand.
Finished products can be decorated with embroidery, knitted pom-poms or ribbons.
