With the help of origami, a square sheet of paper can be turned into the most incredible shapes - for example, a horse figurine, very similar to a miniature copy of a real horse. Despite the seeming complexity, making a horse out of paper is not at all difficult - even a child can cope with such a task, and if an adult takes up paper folding with him, joint creativity will be an excellent entertainment for children and parents.
Instructions
Step 1
First, fold a basic "Bird" shape that resembles a long rhombus out of a square of paper. Bend the outer corners inward, bending their centers along a horizontal line away from you. After that, lower the front top corner of the diamond downward, ironing the fold. The two back corner pieces will remain at the top.
Step 2
Cut the lower part of the rhombus with scissors along the vertical center line, not reaching the horizontal fold a few millimeters. After that, pull the upper left corner to the side, and bend the sides of the lower right corner towards the cut.
Step 3
Bend the right corner outward so that its upper part forms a head on a long neck. Bend the sharp corner of the future head inward to make the muzzle more similar to that of a horse. After that, bend inward the sharp corner of the tail elongated to the side and bend the side of the figure along the "Lightning" fold.
Step 4
Bend the corner on the tail again, and then flatten the corners of the paper on the figurine's face. Fold the front side of the figure along the outlined folds - "zippers" in front and behind, turning the front limbs forward, and bend the outer side of the neck back to make it thinner.
Step 5
Bend the corners on the forelegs of the future horse away from you, and then form the hind legs - also bend their outer sides back. Fold the protruding corners inward and fold the sides of the tail outward. Then bend the corner of your back inward to make it straight.
Step 6
On the horse's hind legs, make two zipper folds. Flatten the corners-pockets on the horse's head to make the ears. Also flatten the corners on the lower legs to get the hooves.
