Provence style is one of the favorite styles of designers and simple needlewomen. Sea, sun, lavender, sunflowers - all this serves as a material for inspiration to those who create in this style. In order to make a panel in the Provence style, we need a good mood and a good idea.
It is necessary
- - napkin with Provence style motif
- - glue for decoupage on fabric
- - soft brush
- - cardboard for the base
- - fabric for the background
- - white decoupage fabric
- - artificial flowers
- - flowers from silk ribbons
- - frame for panels
- - glue stick
- - stapler
- - lace
Instructions
Step 1
Decoupage the fabric. Separate two layers from the napkin. Tear off the top layer motif with your hands. For work, it is better to use a napkin with a pattern on a white background. Place the prepared napkin on a piece of white cloth. Apply fabric decoupage adhesive to a napkin with a soft brush. Smooth out the folds with a brush. Wait for the fabric to dry completely. Iron it on the wrong side with an iron.
Step 2
Glue the background for the future Provence-style panel onto the cardboard base. It can be linen, burlap or other fabric suitable in color and texture. Paste the pattern onto the fabric. Decorate with lace, glue a raffia bow.
Make flowers from silk ribbons or use purchased ones. Take artificial sunflowers. Arrange them in the shape of a bouquet on the fabric. Glue with a glue gun.
Step 3
Choose a frame for the panel. Insert the completed work. Use a stapler to attach the wall mount cord. A do-it-yourself Provence-style panel is ready. Decorate the interior of any room created in this style with it.
