Your new skates are pleasing to the eye, and you look forward to the first time in your life to go to the rink. But skates are not ordinary shoes, and it can be difficult to get them on. First of all, you need to learn how to properly lace your skates.
Instructions
Step 1
Skates lace up from bottom to top. Take your time, do everything gradually, and the result will please you.
At the toe of your boot, lace up your skates with the same force you would use to lace up casual shoes.
Step 2
This is followed by the lifting zone. Here you need to tighten the laces as tight as possible. It is in this part that the leg must be well fixed in order to avoid injury to the ankle joint.
Step 3
In the area of the hooks, the tension on the laces can be slightly released again. Hooks are designed to facilitate lacing around the top of the leg. You just slip the lace under the hook and pull it slightly upward - the lace slips to the right place.
Once the hooks are laced, wrap the remaining ends of the laces around your leg several times and tie tightly.
