Step 1
The laces should not be too thick. The best choice is nylon laces, which can stretch a little. The skate boot needs to be tighter to the point where your foot is bent, and then secure this part of the lacing with a simple knot with an additional criss-cross of the laces. It is recommended to lacing from the outside to the inside, so that the crosses from the laces lie on the tongue of your boot, from below. This will make the boot fit closer to your foot.
Step 2
It is impossible to tighten the lacing directly near the fingers, so as not to disrupt the blood supply. Although the leg should not rotate inside the boot, and the toe should not separate from the insole. If your boot has a lower pair of hooks and an upper pair of holes, tighten the laces so that the heel is close enough to the back of the boot and the insole.

Then, so as not to complicate the process of dorsiflexion of the foot during certain movements, end the lacing loosely enough without pulling the laces too much. Professionals recommend checking on each pair of holes or hooks whether it is possible to sit down quietly or not.

Skates are more comfortable and tighter on their feet, the boots of which are equipped with hooks, not holes. Hooks make the lacing process much easier, and also allow you to take off your shoes to warm your feet and rest more often. The distance between the hooks on the laced boot should be at least 2-2.5 cm. When lacing the top of the boots, put the lace on top of the hook, then wind it down under it, then up in the direction of the next hook. This will create a kind of loop around each of the hooks. This will allow the laces to hold well.
