Instructions
Step 1
Get stasis. This feature becomes available after about 30 minutes of play: in one of the rooms, designed as a laboratory, you will see a sparkling module. Having carried out a simple hacking operation, Isaac will receive a "stasis module" that allows you to freeze time in a certain area. Be careful - before you finish, a rather strong monster will appear, which can only be defeated using this very freeze. The key with which you can apply the skill will be highlighted on the screen.
Step 2
There are two classical strategies. The first is to hold back the enemy so as not to interfere. For example, it is worth doing this if you are already "bitten on the heel" and reinforcements are running from afar. In this case, slow down the distant enemies, trample the close ones and take a convenient position for shooting. The second option for using stasis is to keep a bunch of opponents. When you are surrounded by computer opponents, then you can shoot with a slowdown to the floor under you and retreat - the necromorphs will not even have time to turn around as you cover them with fire from behind the nearest box.
Step 3
Solve puzzles. If you see a door running too fast, a huge propeller or a motor spinning at high speed, be sure you will need to slow down to get things done. This happens not so often, and does not cause any particular difficulties, but due to the habit of using all the possibilities, many players get into a stupor.
Step 4
Don't try to save money. The first chapters are different in that they have enough ammo, first aid kits and stasis batteries, so your goal is to learn how to play. Get used to freezing from the beginning, making sure to use the tank before you find a new one. Of course, not on single enemies, but still as often as possible.
Step 5
Timely make the upgrade through the "workbench". At the final levels, a shaped mess begins, and freezing (whether you like it or not) will become your best friend. Therefore, it is better, as far as possible, to fill the chain with modifications, then by the most intense fights you will have the opportunity to completely stop almost the entire world around you.
