Step 1

Step 2

Step 3
Equip your rod with a nod. It is required as a bite alarm when fishing with jigs, flies, live bait, etc. In addition, with the help of the nod, you can play the bait much more subtly and variedly, which often gives simply amazing results. The nod is selected according to the stiffness and length.
Step 4
Wind the required amount of line onto the spool. Select a line according to the intended type of fish to be hunted. So, when fishing for small fish with jigs and live bait, you need a thin (about 0.15 mm) fishing line, and when trolling, a thicker one.
Step 5
Attach bait, sinkers, float to the line. Pass the line through the entry ring of the rod, the six rings (if equipped) and the leader. If the rod is a float rod, thread the line through the float attachment system. Add movable or fixed weights to it if necessary. Attach a jig, hook, balancer or spoon to the end of the line.
