All fishermen know that fishing is possible not only in summer, but also in winter, and winter fishing has its own advantages and features that should be taken into account if you want the catch to be successful and the fishing enjoyable. An important element of successful winter fishing is the right fishing rod for ice fishing, and you can make this rod yourself from an ordinary disposable 20 ml syringe.
It is necessary
- - syringe;
- - file;
- - copper rod;
- - nut;
- - fishing line.
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the plunger from the syringe and use a file to grind it down along the outer diameter to a depth of one to one and a half centimeters. Then file the four piston fins to the same depth. Use a knife to cut the grooves on the piston ribs: one groove should be 5 mm long and the other 30 mm long.
Step 2
Insert the screw into one groove, and the fishing line into the second. Clean the grooves with a file or a thin file, and then make a handle to help wind the line around the rod. To do this, you need a copper rod with a diameter of 2-3 mm of any length.
Step 3
Using a tapping device, cut a thread for a nut at one end of the rod, then bend the rod in a vise and drill a hole in the upper part of the piston corresponding to the diameter of the rod. Insert the threaded rod into the hole and secure with the nut. Wrap fishing line around the wide groove of the piston.
Step 4
Drill two holes in the body: one at the top for the screw and one at the bottom for the line. The top hole must match the diameter of the screw. Make the bottom hole small, no more than 3-4 mm in diameter. Insert the line into the needle and pass it through the syringe body, and then bring it out through the hole. Insert the body with the line into the syringe.
Step 5
Then insert the screw into the upper hole and tighten it not completely, then unwind the line to the required length and tighten the screw. Thus, you can unscrew the screw and additionally wind or release the required amount of line to decrease or increase the fishing depth.
Step 6
The rotating piston is fixed inside the "fishing rod" with a screw. For convenience, make a rod post from plywood or plastic. Drill a hole in the stand, and cut a cut for the line in its side. Put the pole on the fishing rod and pull the hole out. Insert the line into the groove and lead it into the nod ring, separately cut from plastic bottles. Attach the bait to the line. The rod is ready.
