For fishing small fish, a flexible and light rod equipped with a small hook, thin line and a sensitive float is suitable. If you are planning to fish large fish, then choose a rod with increased strength, with a thicker line.
As for floats, it is better to take them at least one for each situation: fast flow, calm water surface, strong wind, night. Sinkers are selected depending on the purpose of the floats.

Choosing a line that is too long or too short is fraught with significant inconvenience when fishing. The golden mean is defined as follows: rod length + 15-20 cm. The resulting number is the best line length that will make your fishing as comfortable and productive as possible.
