One of the most venomous snakes in the world is the cobra. Its length, at times, reaches 2 m. When the cobra is alarmed, it lifts the body up and expands its neck. This snake also has poisonous teeth that can grow back in place of the lost ones. Although she is terrible, her beauty is simply royal. And this beauty can be portrayed on paper in a more peaceful way.
It is necessary
For drawing, you will need a sketchbook and a pencil. Optionally, you can paint the cobra
Instructions
Step 1
Draw the head first. In the middle of the sheet, draw a small trough, under it another deeper one, and another one, but already with a minimum distance. The walls of the troughs should be in contact with each other. They should taper towards the bottom. Now cover them on top with the same trough, but inverted.
Step 2
Draw two parallel lines from the bottom of the head, which will close in a semicircle at the bottom. This is the part of the body that the cobra raises above the ground.
Step 3
Draw the "ears". From the top of the head to the third of the drawn body, on both sides, draw arcs. In the middle of them, draw another one, with a minimum distance.
Step 4
Draw eyes on the head. These will be two sharp drops, with their extended part converging towards the middle. Draw two triangles under the first trough shown. Their sharp corners should point downward. The teeth are ready. Draw parallel, wavy lines between the teeth with a minimum distance. Make the cobra tongue with the triangle cut out.
Step 5
Shade the middle of the small "ears" with parallel, horizontal lines. Divide the body into two parts. The line should run from the bottom of the ears and go down to a semicircle, expanding slightly. Shade the most part with parallel lines with a slight upward slope.
Step 6
Step back from the bottom of the body a distance equal to its thickness. From these points, on either side, draw lines with a slight downward slope. As long as the height of the "ears". Draw the letter "C" so that the drawn line would go into it, but not touch the back wall. The upper shelf of the letter should cover the line, and the lower one should be long and reach the semicircle of the body.
Step 7
Draw the second part of the cobra rings in the same way, only in mirror image. Then draw the tail like a bent thumb. And fill the entire part of the body, without shading, with short, wavy lines. Then, erase the boundaries between the "ears" and the head so that you get one whole. Draw weightless lines in the middle of the head to simulate folds.
