Shrek is the hero of the cartoon of the same name. It's easy to draw a good-natured fat man. Its rounded shape can be easily transferred to the canvas if you act in stages. First, they create the basis of his figure, then draw the details.
Lay the sheet upright. Divide it into 4 parts in height. The head will be at the top. In the next, afterwards, you will draw his body from chin to navel. The bottom two will take up space from the navel to the toes.
Head, body
The character's head is oval at the top and round at the bottom. Draw a horizontal line in the upper third of the face. Then draw a vertical that divides the head in two.
At the level of the horizontal line from the head to the left and to the right there are 2 shoulders. Shrek is quite fat, so his neck is not visible. The shoulders are small. They consist of two horizontal lines that are slightly rounded towards the arms. From the extreme points of the shoulders, draw one line down. They should end where you divided the sheet into four parts - at the end of the third sector. Connect these 2 vertical lines with a horizontal one. The base of the body has been created.
Hands-legs
From the shoulders there are 2 powerful arms of the cartoon hero. If you want to draw Shrek, so that he stands with his arms bent, his teeth bared, as in one of the episodes of the film, depict his hands as follows. Draw one semicircular horizontal line from the shoulder and armpit. The bend is directed upwards. Connect them with a vertical line. This is Shrek's hand up to the elbow. The second hand is depicted in the same way. The part from elbow to wrist is a circle. Above this, draw the same circle. Soon it will become the brush of the painted Shrek.
Round the bottom line of the body a little. This fabric covers the belly of the fabulous creature. Divide this line in half. Legs go down from this lower body. At the top, the right leg continues the line of the body. The other half of the leg comes out of the point just set. The left leg is the same. They are not long for Shrek. Big wide boots are on the feet.
The face of a charming hero
Start drawing the details. The hero's eyes are on the horizontal line of the face (which you drew at the beginning). Body parts, clothing
Draw a short vest. It does not reach the navel. Above, under the neck, it is tied, then, its floors diverge. On the fabric of the vest there is a pattern consisting of uneven circles. Under the rounded line that frames the belly, parallel to it, draw a belt. The shirt is long, so draw its continuation under the belt. It is slightly flared towards the bottom.
Start drawing the details of the hands. Turn the outermost circle of the hand into a palm. Chubby fingers at its ends. Shrek tries to scare, but the audience is not afraid of the good-natured hero. Erase construction lines. Shrek's drawing is ready.
