Chamomile is the easiest flower to draw that even children can draw. You can decorate a postcard, a picture frame or create a still life with these cute flowers with an ornament of daisies.
It is necessary
A sheet of paper, a simple pencil, an eraser
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the materials you will need for the job. Place a sheet of paper (blank postcard, finished drawing) vertically or horizontally. Use a pencil to get started.
Step 2
Start drawing a chamomile from the eye (core). Draw a small circle on paper - that will be enough. If you are drawing a flower in perspective, then the eye will need to be outlined in the form of an oval elongated horizontally.
Step 3
Next, draw the petals. If the eye is drawn straight (in the form of a circle), then place the petals in a circle, starting to draw from the core of the flower. Mark them as elongated ovals. The length of each petal should be at least one and a half times the diameter of the core. Then narrow each petal slightly at the base, "cutting off" slightly the edges of the oval. Gently round off the end of the petal, or vice versa, make it slightly sharp. If you are drawing a daisy in perspective, the petals closest to you will be much wider than the distant ones.
Step 4
Erase unnecessary lines with the eraser. Define the stem of the chamomile. Basically, it is straight or slightly curved, but by no means wavy. Start drawing the stem from the flower, gradually drawing the line down. Its thickness should not be too large.
Step 5
Draw the leaves of the flower. First, outline them in the form of small ovals (the length of the petal is slightly longer than the length of the petal), and then refine the drawing. Narrow the base of the leaf, and slightly sharpen its end or make several small teeth on it. Use the eraser to remove the extra lines. The number of leaves on one stem can be small - for example, from one to four.
Step 6
Draw thin veins along the length of each petal. On the leaves, first mark one central vein (along its length), and then mark several branching ones. You can apply a light cross-line mesh (lattice) to the chamomile eye.
Step 7
Continue composition depending on the nature of the drawing. Draw some daisies in a vase, or continue the card's ornament with flowers.
