Luxurious shining fireworks are a worthy end to a big celebration. A painted fireworks can be part of a festive decoration or a fragment of a festive landscape. It is better to paint it with gouache or any other opaque paints.
It is necessary
- - paper;
- - hard pencil:
- - gouache;
- - watercolor;
- - foam sponge;
- - Toothbrush;
- - wooden stick.
Instructions
Step 1
Bright stars and sparks look best in dark skies. Therefore, before starting work, prepare the background. It is better to tint the paper with black or dark blue watercolor. Moisten the leaf with water and let it dry slightly. Place black watercolor on a sponge and spread the paint over the entire surface. You can make the sky with tints. First, paint some black and blue spots in different parts of the sheet, and then spread the paint all over the page.
Step 2
Sketch the outline of the fireworks. It can be a star, flower, snake, bunches, or a combination of different shapes. The line should be very thin. Make it with a simple pencil. Against a dark background, it will be almost invisible, but the line will give you the necessary guidelines.
Step 3
Draw the fireworks using the splatter method. If you believe that your sparkles and stars will only be in one part of the sheet (for example, on top), cover the rest with unnecessary pieces of paper. Do the same for the fireworks, which consists of several colored elements. Cut a sheet from a piece of wallpaper that matches the pattern in size. Determine where you will have the main element of the fireworks and cut out a flower, a star, or just a circle. Cover the sheet with a stencil. The hole in it can be of any shape. For example, decorate its edges with long sharp teeth, waves, etc.
Step 4
Draw the desired color of gouache on your toothbrush. Spray it with a wooden stick over the slot in the stencil so that the paint falls in small droplets. Hold the brush with the bristles up at some distance from the sheet. Run your wand over the bristles. The shorter and sharper your movements are, the finer and thicker the drops will be. Peel off the top sheet and let the drawing dry. Likewise, cut out stencils for other parts of the fireworks and repeat the procedure.
Step 5
To draw fireworks with pencils or crayons, rub the pencil or crayon of the desired color on coarse sandpaper or even just with a knife. Pour the powder onto the sections of the leaf designated for the fireworks fragments. Rub the powder with fine sandpaper or a piece of velvet paper. After that add a second color. This method is good for drawing on velvet paper.
