Step 1
Observe the dog when you start drawing. Consider photographs or illustrations of this animal. Think about what position she will occupy on paper. Make rough sketches.
Step 2
Draw two ovals that will serve as the bases for the head and torso. Arrange them on the sheet, guided by the pose chosen for the dog. Then, at the junction of these ovals, draw another one, which later forms the animal's face. Also place small ovals in the places where the dog will have paws.
Step 3
Draw the head. To do this, divide the oval of the head into four parts using two intersecting lines at right angles. Draw the eyes at the level of the horizontal line. In the middle of the oval of the muzzle, sketch a triangle for the nose. Then draw a straight line from it, not reaching the edge of the circle a little. To the right and left of the end of the line, draw two contours so that they do not intersect the outline of the circle. This is the line of the mouth.
Step 4
Draw triangles or ovals for the ears. Their size and shape, as well as the parameters of the muzzle, depend on the breed of dog you are drawing. Add guidelines for the animal's thighs, legs and legs. Mark the location of the tail. Draw pads on the paws, if they are visible, as well as the claws.
Step 5
Erase the oval lines on the sides of the head, leaving the outlines of the muzzle. Define the lines of the neck brighter, highlight the withers, back, shoulders. Paint over the nose, add highlights, mark the nostrils. Draw the eyes. Write the pile all over the dog's body. Make it thicker on the elbows, chest.
Step 6
Define the eyebrows, shade the cheekbones and thigh lines. Draw shadows. Detail the drawing. Delete the auxiliary lines with an eraser, highlight the main lines of the animal's body and its muscles brighter. As a rule, the main muscle group is located in the region of the shoulder as well as the pelvic girdles.
