Orcs are not considered the most popular race among Warhammer 40'000 players. The reason for this, first of all, is the number of units: against one spacemarine, you can safely put 3-4 orcs, and therefore, players specializing in the "green-faced" race have to spend 3-4 times more time painting figures, and it is much more difficult to make each the war is unique.

Instructions
Step 1
Before painting, draw up a color scheme for the future character. Orc skin is exceptionally green and for unassuming players a separate color is allocated for this: Goblin Green. However, if you don’t want to make all the soldiers look "on the same face", then a combination of Dark Angel Green and Scorched Brown in different proportions would be a good choice. Other shades of green are also acceptable. If the unit is a commando, then the skin can be made purple or a purple camouflage stroke applied, for which Warlock Purple is suitable.
Step 2
Clan equipment and marks should be applied according to the code: it describes in detail all the colors characteristic of various groups. There are two common points: red and black and white cells. At the same time, ska-colors are applied to garments, while red is an "enhancer", and in some editions it really improves the characteristics of an item. It is preferable not to choose too bright colors for painting, because it is more typical for spacemarines, any shade you choose should be soft and somewhat "dirty".
Step 3
Apply a primer first. It is preferable to use white, because only it will not affect the final shade of the paints used. However, if you have the skill of handling black soil, then it may be even more advantageous, as it will add shading. Put the figurines in a shoebox and spray with primer: there is no point in making a layer too thick, a surface application is enough. Let the figures stand for 2-3 hours and only then apply the paint.
