The easiest way to make baubles is from thread. Floss threads are especially good for these purposes. They are thick enough and look pretty nice. Before you start weaving floss baubles, master a few basic knots, or more precisely, four knots.
Instructions
Step 1
There are two strands. The first is working (knots are knitted with it on another thread), and the second is axial, that is, the one on which knots are knitted. During the entire weaving of the fennec, the working threads now and then change places with the axial ones and vice versa. All knots are knitted as follows - they take the axial thread in one hand and pull it tight, and with the other hand they take the working thread and make it first one loop, after the second and then tighten it.
Step 2
First take an even number of threads (at least four), let's say six or eight or better in different colors. Gather the threads in a bun, and then tie an ordinary large knot. Leave about 5-10 cm from the ends of the threads to the knot in order to then weave a pigtail, which will become a tie for the finished fennel. Pierce the knot with a pin, then pin it to the upholstered back of a chair or sofa, or a pillow. You can also use scotch tape and use it to glue the threads to the table.
Step 3
Right loop knot. The first and second threads from the left participate in the work. With your left hand, pull the extreme thread, which will be the axial thread, wrap the working thread around the axial thread with your right hand, from left to right. Then pull the end of the thread through the resulting loop and slide the knot up. Make the second knot in the same way and push it tightly against the first. Tighten now, but not very tight. If you did everything correctly, the working thread will swap places with the main thread, thereby changing its working functions.
Step 4
Left loop knot. Here everything is done in mirror image. On the axial thread of the working, two loops are made from right to left.
Step 5
Right turn. With a working thread on the main thread, make a right loop (knot), then a left one.
Step 6
Left turn. With a working thread on the main one, make the left loop, then the right one.
