Shamballa has a special place in the world of jewelry. Designers are experimenting with materials, combining wood, leather, rose-cut diamonds and South Sea pearls in one bracelet. The use of precious stones such as sapphires, rubies, emeralds and diamonds is becoming more and more interesting for connoisseurs of beauty. You can learn to weave Shambhala yourself, using various materials according to your design.

It is necessary

  • - waxed cord (ribbon, braid, etc.) about 3 m;
  • - beads, pendants or other small jewelry - 9-10 pieces;
  • - macrame pillow;
  • - scissors;
  • - tailor's pins.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the waxed cord in half (two strands of 1.5 m).

Step 2

Measure the circumference of your wrist and add another 10-15 cm.

Step 3

Bend both cords so that one end of each cord is as long as you got in step 2. (wrist circumference plus 10-15 cm).

Step 4

Pin the cord to the pad with the short ends in the middle. Insert the pins in three places: at the fold; departing from the previous about 5 cm; at the ends of the central short cords. The side ends (long) must remain free, because we will braid the base with them.

Step 5

Take the side cords in your right and left hand and weave a flat knot (where you pinned the pins 5 cm from the top). It turned out a knot, above which there are two large loops.

Step 6

Weave 6 flat knots. Put a bead on the base (center threads). Weave a flat knot.

Step 7

Then put on the beads as you like, separating them with flat knots. Depending on the size of the beads, you may need about 7-8 pieces of them.

Step 8

Weave 7 flat knots at the end.

Step 9

Now trim the ends of the bracelet. You have 4 ends of the cord. Tie 2 side threads and one central thread with two regular knots so that the bracelet does not come loose. Only one central thread will remain. Do the same at the top of the bracelet. But before that, remove the top pins and cut the loops above the first knot so that you make two free ends out of them. Tie one and cut off, the second remains. Set the cuttings aside.

Step 10

There are two loose threads left: above and below. Put a bead on them and secure with knots.

Step 11

Let's make a "clasp". Put the two remaining threads on top of each other so that a ring (bracelet) is formed and weave several flat loops on them. To do this, use one of the cord cuttings. Now the bracelet is ready, its size can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the ends on the "clasp".
