Shambhala bracelet - a stylish little thing very popular among young people - has some special sacred meaning. This decoration is a kind of amulet or talisman. In addition, made with your own hands, the bracelet has incredibly powerful energy.
It is necessary
- - 2 m waxed or leather cord;
- - several beads with a diameter of 0.7-10 mm;
- - scissors;
- - PVA glue.
Instructions
Step 1
A waxed cord or a thin leather cord is suitable for weaving a shamballa bracelet. As a replacement, you can use 6-fold floss threads, but the product from them will turn out to be not so expressive and high-quality.
Step 2
Pick up the beads. The diameter of their hole must be large enough so that the cord can freely pass through it. The shape of the beads doesn't matter. A classic shambhala bracelet is made of round beads, but square or fancy ones, for example, in the shape of a skull, are quite suitable. Their number may vary depending on your desire or on how many beads are available.
Step 3
Cut 2 cords. One is 1 m long, 20 cm, the other 60 cm. Tie one end of the short cord with a tight knot. Lay the cord vertically with the knot down. This will be the base of the bracelet (also called the "lazy" cord).
Step 4
Place a long cord about 20 cm above the knot and tie it around the base, making sure the ends are equal in length.
Step 5
Next, tie a flat square knot. Wind the left side of the work line to the right and place it on the right side. Then take the right end and wind it to the left under the base cord and insert it into the resulting loop. Tighten the knot.
Step 6
Make another knot, but now the cord that went over the base cord should lie under the "lazy" cord, and the end that was pulled under it should, on the contrary, be on top of the base cord. Tighten the cord. Make some square, flat knots, depending on your preference.
Step 7
Then add the bead. String it onto a lazy cord. And tie a flat square knot under it with the ends of the working lace, as described above. Add the desired number of beads and square knots, braiding in this way to a size equal to the circumference of the wrist.
Step 8
Apply some PVA glue to the last knot. When it is completely dry, carefully cut off the excess ends of the working lace.
Step 9
Make a shambhala clasp. To do this, fold the 2 ends of the base cord together and tie them with the remaining piece of the working cord. For the fastener, it is enough to make 12-14 knots. At the same time, apply a little glue to the latter, let it dry and cut off the excess ends. A lazy cord should be tightened without any effort.
Step 10
String 1 bead of smaller diameter on both ends of the bracelet and tie them with a simple knot. Secure it with glue and cut off the excess.
