For the New Year's holiday, children love to dress up in the costumes of their favorite fairy-tale creatures and heroes of books. Many children want to be dressed as Cheburashka. The hardest part about this outfit is to make the most important detail of this hero, big ears. Sometimes they are exactly what you can do. There are several ways to do them.

It is necessary

  • - yarn;
  • - hook or knitting needles;
  • - cotton wool or synthetic winterizer;
  • - thin wire;
  • - embroidery hoop;
  • - thick cardboard;
  • or
  • - black artificial fur, velvet or ivy;
  • - thick cardboard;
  • - hat;
  • or
  • - thick brown paper;
  • - glue;
  • or
  • - bezel;
  • - threads;
  • - a needle;
  • - brown fabric.

Instructions

Step 1

Method 1. This method is suitable for those who know how to knit. Tie a beanie close to your head. Also tie your ears. For one ear, tie two ovals or circles: one brown, of the same wool as the cap, the other smaller and of a different color, such as light brown or yellow. They need to be carefully sewn and stuffed with cotton wool or padding polyester so that they are voluminous. Insert a thin, lightweight wire frame inside. You can cut two circles out of thick cardboard to fit the size of the knitted and sewn ears and insert instead of the frame. You can also hoop them over the hoop. To do this, you need two sets of hoops (small diameter). In this case, you need to tie the ears based on the size of the hoop. When the ears are ready, sew them to the cap.

Step 2

Method 2. If you have black or brown faux fur, velvet or plush, sew your ears from this material (make the second circle from a light-colored fabric). Cut circles to size from thick cardboard and insert into your ears. Or use a wire frame. Sew to the knitted hat. Do not make your ears too big, they may not hold their shape well and be uncomfortable for the child.

Step 3

Method 3. If you do not want to mess with fabric or thread, make a hat out of paper. Prepare a sheet of thick brown paper or thin cardboard. Make three strips out of it. The longest will be the base. Measure the circumference of the baby's head and add a few more centimeters to the gluing. Glue the ends of the strip together. Then glue two breakages to it, which will intersect at the top of the head. They run from the forehead to the back of the head and from ear to ear. Attach ears to this hat, which can be made of paper, cardboard, or in any of the above ways - knit or sew.

Step 4

Method 4. Take a regular headband for hair (it is better to take the wider option), suitable for the circumference of your baby's head, sew it over with a brown cloth. Make the ears as already described. Attach (better to sew) the ears to the headband.
