Today, girls and women increasingly prefer fur shoes. Some care about the warmth and comfort of their feet, while others follow the new fashion trends. You can make fur boots yourself, since there is nothing complicated in sewing technology, and a thing sewn with your own hands will turn out to be doubly warmer and more beautiful. And the main thing is that only you will have such fur boots.

It is necessary

  • - pieces of natural or artificial fur;
  • - dense fabric for insoles;
  • - cardboard;
  • - rubber or felt;
  • - glue;
  • - needles;
  • - threads.

Instructions

Step 1

Take measurements from your feet to build a pattern: details of the top of the boots, soles, insoles in shoes and pads under the heels. Please note that the spacers must be cut from a denser fabric.

Step 2

Cut out the details of the pattern and pin them on the materials used: fur and thick fabric for the inner parts of the boots.

Step 3

Transfer all the details of the pattern to the fabric base, add seam allowances (2 centimeters for the seams and 4 centimeters for the hem) and carefully cut out the parts.

Step 4

Place the front and back edges of the top of the boot on top of each other, sweep and stitch on the sewing machine. Make sure that the distance from the seam to the edge is about 4-5 millimeters.

Step 5

Start sewing the boot from the borders of the heel and toe, lead the line towards the upper cut of the bootleg.

Step 6

Take a small hammer and "punch" all the seams so that the seams do not rub your feet while wearing the boots. Raise the top edge of the product to the wrong side by 5 millimeters and stitch it.

Step 7

Attach the outsole to the top of the boot with fine stitches, making sure that it is not skewed and that the center of the top and the outsole are exactly aligned with each other.

Step 8

Stitch the parts with a machine seam at a distance to the edge of no more than 5 millimeters. "Punch" the seams with a hammer, turn the workpiece to the front side.

Step 9

Cut out the insoles: for each boot you need two pieces (one made of thick cardboard, the other made of thick fabric). Place the heel pad on the cardboard insole, followed by the fabric insole. To secure them together, sew the edges of the insoles with a zigzag stitch, without bending the edges, at a distance of about 5 millimeters.

Step 10

Cut out another pair of outsole out of rubber or felt. Sew on or glue it on. The boots are ready.
