Step 1

VirtualDub is distinguished by its ease of use and availability, because it can be downloaded completely free of charge and legally on the web, just enter its name in the search and download from any server available to you.
Step 2
Install VirtualDub, open the program. At the top of the program window, you can see the tools that you may need during the processing.

Click the File button and then Open Video file. Find your movie on your computer hard drive, open it with a mouse click. The video will open in two program windows at once. In the first one, you will see the video in its original form, the revised version of it will be reflected in the right.
Step 4
You can process the video by clicking the Edit button. For example, to cut a small section of it, use the Cut function. Set the start and end of the clip on the time ruler below. Click File - Save as AVI. In the dialog box, select the place where you want to save the processing result, give the file the desired name, click OK.
Step 5
The computer will take some time to complete the processing, the end of which you will be notified by a sound signal.
