Instructions

Step 1

It is necessary to try on roller skates in the socks in which you are going to skate. For this, both special "roller" socks and cotton socks are suitable for you. It is not recommended to wear woolen or synthetic socks under the skates.

Step 2

Select the correct size casters. Start trying on a larger size and gradually reduce it until you feel that the heel rests against the heel counter. Keep in mind that roller skates shoes wear out, and if you buy rollers at least one size larger, then after a while it will just dangle on your feet. To make it easier to choose shoes, you can use the table of foot sizes.

Step 3

The skates must be properly fastened. Anchorage usually consists of three elements: clips, heel strap and laces. First of all, pull the tongue completely out of the boot. Now you can start tightening your laces. In doing so, try to distribute the pressure of the laces as evenly as possible along the entire length of the top of the foot. You don't need to squeeze your leg when tightening.

Step 4

Now secure the heel. It is also not worth pinching here, but at the same time try to do it so that at the end of the process the heel does not move either to the side or up. If you feel displacement when trying to get up, try tightening the laces and heel strap even tighter. If this does not help, then you need to move on to trying on another pair of skates.

Step 5

The last step is fixing the clips. Open the clips, thread the strap into the latch. Next, you need to snap on the clip, while the boot cuff should tightly clasp your leg. Here, too, the leg should in no case dangle in the cuff.

Step 6

Now you can put on the second roller and carefully get to your feet. Walk, if possible, at least 10-15 minutes. During this time, you will be able to understand whether you are comfortable or not. If you are uncomfortable, you feel some discomfort, immediately start trying on other options. Only when you are completely sure of your choice, feel free to pay for the long-awaited purchase.
