Over time, everything can become boring, even the most elaborate and popular online shooter: such, for example, as Counter-Strike. Not surprisingly, the game has acquired a lot of plugins of various sorts over a decade. So, for example, one of the mods allows each player to feel like a Spider-Man.
Instructions
Step 1
Webbing is a mod not included in the original game. It is logical that it will not be possible to use it everywhere - only on those playgrounds that are specially equipped for this. Find the server with the installed web and go to the game.
Step 2
Open the console by pressing the ~ key. If nothing happens when you click, then go to the "Settings" menu and make sure that there is a check mark in the "General" tab opposite the Console item.
Step 3
In the console, enter the line bind "f" "+ rope. You can translate the command as" Attach the use of the rope to the f key (you can replace it with any other if you want).
Step 4
If the rope does not work, it is possible that its use is assigned to a certain circle of players. Check this question with the server administration.
Step 5
To install the mod on your own copy of CS - download a set of corresponding files from the Internet. In this case, an AMX server is required.
Step 6
Unpack the downloaded archive into the cstrike / addons / amxmodx / folder.
Step 7
Open the plugins.ini file located at cstrike / addons / amxmodx / configs / using notepad. Enter prokreedz_hook.amxx in the last line and close the file, having previously saved all the changes.
Step 8
Start the server and enter the game. After each launch, you have to enter two commands: amx_rope and amx_rope_count #. The first activates and disables the plugin, the second determines the number of ropes available to players in each round. In some assemblies, the mod word rope is replaced by hook or power1. The difference is that rope can be used by any player by entering the command described in the third step - the hook, on the other hand, is available only to server administrators. The power1 code is used in the Heromode modification, which significantly changes the gameplay on the server.
